PROF. VICTOR MBARIKA WINS THE 2021 AFRICAN ENTREPRENEURSHIP PRIZE
The African Entrepreneurship Prize Distinction was Established in 2019 in Paris during the second international meeting of the International Committee of Excellence (ICE), this distinction aims to salute the exceptional course of the entrepreneurs on the one hand, and on the other hand, the initiatives and actions in favor of entrepreneurship on the continental level during the year.
It is good to note that, eligible candidates are those of natural persons or organizations of established reputation which have distinguished themselves, particularly by their spirit of ingenuity on the one hand, and on the other hand, by achievements concrete actions in favor of entrepreneurship at the sub-continental level during the year.
The choice of the winner is made among the candidates submitted or proposed by credible persons or institutions, enjoying good morality and having a perfect knowledge of the personality or the institution evaluated continentally.
Applications are assessed on the basis of the following criteria:
- Vision and entrepreneurial spirit of the winner
- Concrete actions and achievements in favor of entrepreneurship
- Personal and professional competence of the laureate
- The exceptional entrepreneurial journey of the laureate
- A strong vision of the winner for Africa
The 2021 African Entrepreneurship Prize was given to Professor Victor Mbarika to recognize and salute his actions and achievements in favor of entrepreneurship and his exceptional entrepreneurial journey that has aroused particular admiration within the panel of the jury of ICE.
DISTINGUISHED PROFESSOR JEAN-EMMANUEL PONDI IS NOW CHANCELLOR OF THE ICT UNIVERSITY.

WATCHING CAMEROON’S PRESIDENT PAUL BIYA’S SPEECH WITH THE PRIME MINISTER, CHIEF PROF. DION NGUTE.
Colleagues/Friends— What an honor to be invited by the Prime Minister of Cameroon, to watch the end of year speech of President Paul Biya of Cameroon. We had a wonderful evening watching the speech as well as eating some great barbecue. I have the utmost respect for this GREAT MAN. I have hardly met a leader as humble as he is, despite his accomplishments. Additionally, in the professional world, he is a colleague— a university professor. He understands higher education.
It was a wonderful way to end the year watching the President’s speech with him, his lovely wife, and my good friend, His Excellency Confiance Ebune, the Director of Cabinet at the Prime Minister‘s office.
Praying for peace to reign in our great country.

ICT Unversity Donates E-Learning and E-Library Equipment to University of Moundou in Chad (Central Africa)
We are so proud of our relationship with the government and the people of Chad. Although I cannot make it for the official launching on these centers, I am happy our Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Francophone studies, Professor Pierre Fonkoua, will represent the ICT University Foundation. Hopefully, I may visit Chad during my December break. God bless the nation of Chad.
